The Wallpaper Collage series developed from using printed pattern samples of my original wallpaper designs as backgrounds to layer mixed media collages on top of. These unique, textured compositions combine abstract shapes, vibrant colors, intricate patterns, and fragments of drawings and paintings, forming visual narratives that invite personal interpretation.

"Sevens" is a bit of a messy landscape on top of patterned wallpaper. The two strong vertical elements are made up of organic flowing forms that are contained in their structures. Deep red accents anchor the movement, unifying the story about inside and outside environments.

A cropped version is also presented as an alternative for this artwork.

Original collage, 5.5” x 8”, mixed media--including acrylic paint, original printed patterns, and found material, made on 140 lb. 25% cotton cold pressed paper. Signed on the front, and signed, titled and dated on the back.

• The frames are handcrafted with 100% wood profiles and made in the USA.
  Acid-free, archival 4-ply matting and backing. Acrylic clear glazing with superior UV protection. Everything required for hanging is included.
