The challenge in creating this collage was in taking diverse elements and weaving them together so that they balanced one another in such a way as to draw the eye around the picture field, like visiting chapters in a novel.

Pieces of patterns, photographs, watercolors, cut and torn shapes … neon pop colors against medieval golds, and minted coppers all creating complex layers for an open story.
